We were pleased with the PSA as was the doctor, but I keep wondering if we should be doing something other than waiting for the next 3 month PSA. If the cancer was in the SV then almost certainly it has gone out of the prostate. You could consider asking for the new tests which would help determine if there is cancer in specific locations -even though some lymph nodes were removed and 1 was cancerous there could be others. Stage III includes: T3a-b, N0, M0, Any PSA, Any Gleason. cT3a: Tumor with extracapsular extension (unilateral or bilateral).
